Any Bedford resident can participate in the food pantry program. Local Congregations can also refer people to the Bedford Community Food Pantry.
Non-perishable food items including canned and boxed goods.
Some of the most needed items include:
Hot/Cold cereals, boxed pasta, mac and cheese, rice, flour, crackers, peanut butter, juice
Canned items: tomato sauce, soup, beans, tuna/chicken, fruit
Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot accept: dented or damaged cans, unlabeled or damaged food packages, perishable food items (e.g. fresh produce or meat products), and homemade food items.
Yes, we are always accepting personal donations to the Food Pantry (see information on acceptable and non-acceptable food items).
Yes! We are always looking for donations of essential items including toiletries, household cleaning products, and personal hygiene products.
There are many ways that you can help out including: sign up to volunteer, make a monetary donation, donate essential items including food and non-food products, organize a local food drive, and spread the word about the Bedford Food Pantry program!
