Cooking for ONe or Two

A freezer will be your best friend!

Grains: (rice, bread, pasta, oatmeal)

  • Separate into individual portions and freeze

Vegetables and Fruit:

  • For fresh- customize your grocery bag of fruit/vegetables by adding more or taking out less
  • For example, you can customize a bag of grapes by taking some out so you can eat them all before they spoil
  • Frozen veg and fruit can be consumed at any time

Protein: (meat, seafood, beans)

  • Portion into individual servings and freeze
  •  Hard-boiled eggs can be kept for a few days
  • Dried beans are shelf-stable so you can take what you need and store the rest
