About Us

Our Mission

The Bedford Community Food Pantry seeks to provide access to adequate food for families and individuals.

Our Community

Food insecurity is a growing concern across the nation and right here in our own backyard. Right now, here in Bedford, nearly 500 of our friends and neighbors living below the poverty line. In addition nearly 300 adults and children in Bedford qualify for food stamps, and more than 160 families in Bedford meet the income standards for the government’s free school lunch program.

Our Partnerships

The Bedford Community Food Pantry is a program of the Bedford Lions Club. The Bedford Lions Charitable Foundation is recognized as a nonprofit organization by the IRS.

We receive the majority of donations from Hannaford's, Stonyfield Farm, and the NH Food Bank.
